Bihar ITI Admission 2025: Apply Online, Eligibility, Dates & Process

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has initiated the Bihar ITI Admission 2025 (ITICAT) process. Interested candidates can apply online via the BCECEB portal from 6 March to 24 May 2025, with fee submission and correction window available until 27 May.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Age Requirement: Minimum 14 years as of 1 August 2025. No upper age limit.
  • Educational Qualification: Passed or appearing in Class 10 (mathematics & science) from a recognized board with at least 35% marks, or meet allotment conditions.
  • Domicile: Candidate must be a Bihar resident or have a qualifying certificate from Bihar.

How to Apply

  1. Visit BCECEB website at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
  2. Click on ITICAT 2025 registration link.
  3. Complete registration, fill application, upload documents and photo/signature.
  4. Pay the exam fee (₹550 Gen/OBC, ₹100 SC/ST, ₹450 PwD).
  5. After fee payment, corrections allowed on 26–27 May.
  6. Download congratulations page and print admit card after 7 June.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

  • Exam Mode: Offline (OMR-based).
  • Date: 15 June 2025.
  • Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes.
  • Questions: 150 MCQs (Mathematics, General Science, General Knowledge).
  • Marking: +2 per correct answer; no negative marking.

After the Exam: Result & Counselling

  • Result Declaration: Within June 2025, based on merit.
  • Counselling: Starts June–July; seat allotment via online preference filling.

Bihar offers over 130 ITI trades, including Electrician, Fitter, COPA, Welder, Mechanic Diesel, etc., through both government and private ITIs. Seat allotment depends on your rank and preferences during counselling.

  • Note your application and roll numbers for later stages.
  • Download and print the admit card on time after release.
  • Prepare well in Maths and Science fundamentals the OMR test is competitive.
