The application window started on May 19, and the last date to apply is June 13, 2025 all done online via the official portal. Both government and private Industrial Training Institutes will offer seats based on merit.

Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 14-40 years; no upper age limit for females
- Education: Passed Class 8 or Class 10 with at least 35%
- Domicile: Must reside in Tamil Nadu
Final-year Class 10 students are also eligible to apply.
Application Process
- Visit the DET admission portal: skilltraining.tn.gov.in
- Click New Registration and fill in personal details
- Upload scanned documents: photo, signature, and educational certificates
- Pay application fee of ₹50 (non-refundable)
- Submit your application and print the confirmation page
Merit List & Seat Allotment
- Merit list is based on Class 8/10 marks and will be published online on June 16, 2025
- Counselling begins July-August 2025
- Final seat allotment based on merit, preferences & seat availability
